Automated Custom Pressure & Flow Control Systems
- Automated Battery Burst Pressure Tester
- The ABBPTS is ideal for quality control. Defective battery casings, unable to withstand a designated pressure, can be identified and discarded. With loading capabilities of up to 64 casings (AAA, AA, C, or D) simultaneously, the ABBPTS is practical and efficient. The ABBPTS also can be modified to test multiple battery casings in sheet form.
- Automated Pressure Regulator
- The APR is a standard manual pressure regulator modified so that pressure output can be controlled by computer or other electronic means. APR can connect to different types of controllers provided by APP or the customer. A controller must provide 24vdc in either polarity to the motor and +5vdc to the position feedback system and to the reading of the three position feedback values that will be between 0 and 2 volts. APP controllers feature a highly accurate pressure transducer and closed feedback allowing the regulator to maintain a user-determined target pressure.
- Automated Burst Pressure Tester
- The ABPT is ideal for quality control. Defective components unable to withstand a designated pressure can be identified and discarded.
- Automated Valves
- APP automates valves of various types, configurations, and sizes - almost any valve that can be turned by hand can be automated. Valves that can be automated by APP are either on-off (shutoff) or metering (flow control). Standard configurations that are automated include two-way, two-way angle, and three-way; typical port sizes range from ¼" to 1".
- Automated Gas Assisted Injection Molding System
- The AGAIMS can be used to enhance the injection molding process in the plastics industry. By automating and accurately controlling the gas injection process, the AGAIMS helps the plastics industry to minimize materials costs without sacrificing strength. The AGAIMS helps to ensure that the part being molded takes the desired form with little operator effort.
- Computer Controlled Automated Pressure Regulator
- The CCAPR (Model APP-100APR) is designed to provide accurate control of gas pressures and compliment APP's line of automated valves and pressure control systems. This regulator is designed for laboratory, pilot plant, and process control applications.
- Automated Pressure Control System
- The APCS has applications in many industries. The flexible design of the APCS, combined with the ability of Advanced Pressure Products to customize all aspects of the configuration, make the APCS suitable in almost any pressure or flow control situation. Examples of applications are: Burst Tests, Battery Burst Tests including Crimp and Vent Tests, Fatigue Tests, Leak Tests, Air Bag Inflator Test, High Pressure Chamber Fatigue Tests, Multi-Gauge Tests and Calibration, Rupture Disc Tests, and Supercritical Fluid Extraction.
- Custom Designed Systems
- Advanced Pressure Products is committed to helping our customers find solutions, not just products. In pursuit of this goal, we often modify our existing systems or create new systems to accommodate a particular application.
- Automated Pressure Gauge Calibration System
- The APGCS is utilized in manufacturing and industrial environments where pressure gauges are used or manufactured. The APGCS is unique in its ability to calibrate any make of pressure gauge, regardless of manufacturer. Moreover, the APGCS is adaptable to any calibration procedure currently in use. Rather than ask our customers to change their calibration procedure, we customize our instrument to fit that procedure.
- Cyclic Pressure Control System
- The CPCS assesses the effect of continuous pressurization/depressurization changes on various materials. In particular, the CPCS is useful in the medical industry; the CPCS simulates the pulsing effect on artificial arteries, and thereby tests the fatigue and change in diameter over time. Other examples include fatigue testing for air bag inflators, pressure gauges, and rupture discs.
- Automated Pressure Holding System
- The APHT generates and holds a target pressure from atmospheric pressure to 5000 PSI (pneumatic system) and to 60,000 PSI (hydraulic system). The system is completely microprocessor controlled and fully automated, allowing the user to control the pressurization rate, target pressure, and holding time. The APHT can best be utilized as an integral part of a larger system. The APHT can work in conjunction with already existing equipment and processes to hold a desired pressure.
- Enhanced Automated Pressure Control System
- The EAPCS is specially designed for large volume, high-pressure applications, including: Battery Cell Burst Tests, Air Bag Inflator Tests, High Pressure Chamber Fatigue Tests, Multi-Gauge Tests Calibration, Supercritical Fluid Extraction, and many different types of custom tests.
- Automated Pressure Leak Tester
- The APLT evaluates system leakage and leakage rate and determines the integrity of a system. In many applications, the APLT can operate independently and without modification. The Advanced Pressure Products APLT also can be modified to suit any type of environment, system, or application.
- Supercritical Fluid Digital Pumping System
- The SFDPS is specially designed for supercritical fluid extraction applications in diverse industries; one example is the processing industries. The flexible design and multiple applications of the SFDPS make this instrument attractive to individuals involved in R&D in the supercritical fluid extraction field.
- PVT Apparatus - NEW!
- The PVT Apparatus is designed to measure the volume of a given amount of gas or liquid as a function of its temperature and pressure. The apparatus is completely automated and is computer controlled in order to yield precise data.
